SADLY THERE WAS no luck for the Irish nominees at the Golden Globes last night, with our big hopes Saoirse Ronan and Michael Fassbender going home empty-handed.

However, Brie Larson claimed the Best Actress in a Drama trophy for her role in Lenny Abrahamson’s Room, and the director says we’re OK to chalk that down as a win for Ireland (sort of).
